Excutive Chef Jorge Ariza Peralta
Chef Jorge Ariza Peralta's culinary journey is a testament to passion, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence. Born in Quebrantadero, Morelos, Mexico, his story began in a humble working-class family where he first learned the value of hard work and dedication from his father, a farmer, and his mother, who supported the family by preparing and selling traditional tamales.
At the age of 16, Chef Ariza embarked on a life-changing journey to Chicago, where his culinary career began from the ground up. Starting as a dishwasher, he quickly demonstrated an exceptional work ethic and passion for cooking. His experience in a Vietnamese restaurant marked a pivotal moment, introducing him to new flavors and techniques that would later influence his unique culinary style.
Today, at Casa Deli Minnesota, Chef Ariza brings together his diverse culinary background to create innovative dishes that blend traditional Mexican flavors with modern cooking techniques.
